WELCOME TO BLUE BELL

Blue Bell, PA is a quiet suburb located approximately 18 miles northwest of downtown Philadelphia and is steeped in history. Blue Bell was originally called Pigeontown, because passenger pigeons had a high propensity to call the area home at the time. In 1840, the town changed its name to Blue Bell after the town's main inn, which once hosted a visit from George Washington. The Blue Bell Inn has been completely restored and renovated and is still proudly serving guests. It’s a town favorite for those local and far.

Money Magazine named Blue Bell 14th on its list of best 100 places to live in the United States. Conveniently located to nearby shopping and dining options as well as business centers. Easily accessible to 476, 76, 202 and 309. The Philadelphia International Airport is just 30 miles away. Blue Bell even has its own Wings Field Airport within city limits where people can charter flights or even book their own flying lessons. Train travel is also an option, as there are three Amtrak stations within 14 miles.

Located in the highly rated Wissahickon School District and also convenient to highly regarded private schools, including Germantown Academy, Penn Charter and Gwynedd Mercy Academy.

The Blue Bell area offers a wide variety of housing options, including single-family homes, town houses, and condos, with a mix of old and new construction. Lot sizes also vary between modest yards to quite expansive properties with winding driveways.
